Special Features
The Leviathan Axe
Kratos lost his powerful and iconic weapon at the end of God of War III, but he’s back with a new signature weapon to use in vicious combat. The Leviathan Axe is his powerful weapon that can battle whatever unusual creatures you may discover as you explore the World.
Atreus
He now has a family. In God of War, Kratos will have a constant companion as he takes his son across the dangerous worlds to lay his mother’s ashes. However, his son is independent and stays out of the way so you’ll only notice him when you need his help!
New World
Delve into a whole new mythology as you explore the open world in Scandinavia. Meet new mysterious Gods and learn about the Norse mythology as Kratos and Atreus set off on their quest.
Customised Weapons
It’s not all about hack and slash in this God of War. You can customise Kratos’s weapons, armour and enchantments just the way you wish. Choose to play defensively or with strength as you choose his equipped gear which all effects the way he combats enemies.
Character
Kratos will always be the grumpy old Spartan, but he has changed. Now he is depended on by his son Atreus, and he must protect himself and his son as they venture their way through dangerous worlds. In God of War, he must protect, defeat as well as balance his emotions and internal struggle.
New Role
He’s no longer attempting to be a better God, he’s trying to evolve into a better man for himself and his son.
